UCF’s Main Programmes for 2025-2027:
To enhance the reach and impact of UCF in the Auckland region, we propose the following strategic actions under the name of “United Community”:
1- Launch Sports Leagues: The Foundation will establish competitive and recreational leagues in popular sports such as football, volleyball, basketball, and badminton. These leagues will improve team spirit, healthy competition, and physical fitness across the Auckland region.
2- Weekly Informal Games: We facilitate weekly casual sports gatherings in each region to encourage regular participation and social interaction. These informal games will offer a relaxed atmosphere for building friendships and community connections.
3- Fortnightly Hiking Excursions: Fortnightly hiking trips to explore Auckland’s scenic landscapes will be organized. These activities will include transportation and light refreshments, promoting physical health and appreciation for New Zealand’s natural beauty.
4- Cultural Social Gatherings: The Foundation will host monthly social events that celebrate the rich diversity of cultures within the community. These gatherings will invite people to share their customs, traditions, foods, music, and games, raising a deeper understanding and appreciation of different cultural backgrounds.
5- Youth Sports Training: By hiring qualified coaches, we provide sports training sessions for children and youth aged 5 to 18 years, including talent identification, in football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, and martial arts/self-defence. These sessions will focus on skill development, discipline, and teamwork, nurturing the next generation of athletes and leaders.
6- Female Weekly Dance Programmes: The Foundation will also initiate weekly dance sessions exclusively for women, aiming to foster joy, interpersonal connections, and celebrate diverse cultural values.
